Dealer Inspire is a certified website and digital advertising provider for Acura. In the spring of 2020 we started on a proposal to overhaul the Acura program which included a new website, design system, and advertising strategy. Before starting we knew the new websites would be built on Dealer Inspire's new website platform sitebuilder. Sitebuilder is a visual builder that allows dealers control over their design.
To leverage the new platforms ability we started to look closer into the organisms that make up a web page. Organisms are relatively complex UI components composed of groups of molecules and atoms. Allowing dealers to manipulate these organisms would allow for faster edits and more customization.
We designed three options for navigation. Each are slightly different but all come with the essentials. Some dealers like to show contact info in the nav while others prefer a streamlined look.
The DI slider is great for displaying banners. The slider gives dealers the option to pre-load a number of banners to display during certain times.
On smaller devices we have integrated an action bar located at the bottom of the screen. You can find things like search and instant messaging.
Customizing sections are easier than ever with sitebuilders interface. Images and text can be swapped out at any time to fits the needs of our dealers.
